We have been learning about our kaumātua.
Kaumātua is your nanny and your papa. It can be your great nanny and great papa too.
It can be your great great grandma and great great grandpa. So on and so on.
We are having an assembly Friday and some of our kaumātua are coming to the assembly. We have been learning how special our kaumātua is to us.
We will be sharing some videos and photos we created for them. We will also be performing a waiata aroha.
